Banana, Spinach & Cottage Cheese Green Smoothie Recipe
Prep time: 10 minutes
Servings: 1-2
Ingredients:

1 ripe banana (preferably frozen for a thicker texture)

1 cup fresh baby spinach leaves, nicely washed.

½ cup low-fat or full-fat cottage cheese

½ cup plain Greek yoghurt or curd for extra probiotics

½ cup unsweetened milk of your choice

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

3-4 ice cubes
Instructions:
1. Prep your ingredients:
If using fresh bananas, you must add a few ice cubes for a creamier texture. If using frozen banana, then you may skip the ice.
Use soft cottage cheese or blend firm paneer with a splash of milk first for a smoother consistency.
2. Blend it all together
In a blender, mix all the ingredients: banana, spinach, cottage cheese, almond milk, and Greek yogurt.
Add chia seeds or flax seeds and honey if you like a touch of sweetness.
Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
3. Serve Immediately:
Pour into a glass or to-go cup and enjoy your refreshing green breakfast.
